After returning from living in South Africa with our 2 children, we were not sure where we would end up settling. Then in 2011 we discovered this beautiful property—a faithful tribute to gold‑rush architecture and craftsmanship built in the 1970s—which drew us back to our hometown. Over the years, even though we sometimes wondered if it was too big for us and even considered selling, we couldn’t bring ourselves to part with it or let its charm fade.
After years of landscaping, nurturing and evolving our business from a DIY approach to a full‑service offering, we transformed the property into the stunning venue with beautifully curated spaces you see today. Our vision for Willow & Stone Estate slowly came to life, creating a place that feels like home not only to our family of four but also to every newlywed couple and the incredible team we’ve built along the way.
Now, when we sit by our billabong and watch the sun filter through the willow trees along the creek, we smile at how far we’ve come. Willow & Stone is loved by so many, and we feel privileged to play a part in our guests’ special days as they begin their own happily‑ever‑after.
