All inclusions as part of venue hire

Includes but not limited to…

A full weekend of exclusive hire of grounds for ceremony, photos and reception area and full use of the luxurious and spacious bridal suite from Friday morning to Monday afternoon. Allowing you and your wedding party to set your own pace to prepare, relax and enjoy what will be an unforgettable weekend.

  • 3 nights accommodation in luxury bridal suite (up to 4 additional guests pre wedding night)
  • Use of groom’s /games room on wedding day with ample space to get ready and fun chill space to hang with groomsmen/women pre ceremony
  • Use of 'moody’ wine cellar for wedding party & photos
  • Bridal suite prepped and set up for wedding night
  • Choose your own ceremony area
  • Clear or covered marquee (20 x 10 meters) for reception
  • Dance floor (choose your own location)
  • Festoon lighting in marquee and around reception areas (300+ meters dimmable festoon lights)
  • Onsite spectacular licensed bar with all glassware included
  • Use of catering container for your caterer of choice
  • Wedding coordinator to run your day as you intended

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We don’t take deposits on bookings more than 2 years out from your desired date. We find on average couples who want their pick of dates book at least 18 months to 2 years out.

Anything less than 12 months out will have limited date options. However, we have turned some wedding dates around within a few weeks/months where we have had availability.

So it’s always worth checking in case there is a free weekend coming up if you want to celebrate sooner rather than later.

The couple: full use of our luxury suite – including expansive dressing room – for the entire weekend (3 Nights). The suite can sleep a total of 5. Can we suggest a sleepover the night before with a few of your besties? Next morning, all get ready on site, tie the knot, celebrate. Then as newlyweds, return to your magically prepared honeymoon suite which is all yours for the next two days and nights. Lots of surprises to make your stay extra special.

The guests: Ballarat has an abundance of accommodation options with one of the largest hotels literally at our private back gate – no driving, taxis or buses required. We can recommend the best accommodation, cafes, bars. restaurants and attractions all within minutes of our venue, ensuring your guests feel the weekend is a wee bit about them too!

Unfortunately we no longer allow recovery days due to some incidents in the past – We can suggest great venues close by and around town to host a recovery should you prefer to continue your cheers and celebrations. 

Our venue has a permit to host up to 150 patrons.

We have a few areas around the property that can be used for a ceremony undercover if required. You will be shown these during your private tour.

We also have a great stash of clear and white umbrellas that you are welcome to use should they be needed.

Your on day venue and event managers (included with venue hire), will work with you and all your suppliers to ensure no matter what the weather is doing they will be all over it making sure you won’t have to weather worry.

Our venue hire is for a total of 3 days and 3 nights. Why? Because that works perfectly here to ensure your event is not over before it starts and no manic bump ins & out. We only hold one event per weekend, so if you only plan on staying for a night or all 3, it is the same venue hire price.

Catering,  furniture,  styling and entertainment are all excluded from our venue hire.

However our wedding planning team who are included in venue hire can assist with any and every aspect of your big day.

We don’t include furniture. We do supply the basics that most couples use such as, marquee, dance floor, festoon lights, which are all included in venue hire. We have a great list of past preferred suppliers for furniture hire.

Absolutely.

We love working with couples to find out exactly what you are looking for and recommend the perfect fit vendors to suit your style & budget.

Absolutely!! We love fur babies here. Some conditions do apply, just to make sure they get the right attention too on the day.

With our permit restricting us to a limited number of events held per year we mostly only accommodate weekend weddings.

Being only minutes from the centre of town, there are plenty of taxi and uber options around that should not cost more than $20 to get to any other accommodation in Ballarat. We can also arrange private shuttles for your guests from airports or around town or your group’s Airbnb.
